I was rooting for the Detroit, but we can't have everything. I din't get to watch the WS, cause we can only get it on cable here in Australia, and I don't have cable. Does Rick Ankiel still play for the Cards? I pitched against him a couple of times way back in '97. He was playing for team USA, and I for Australia, both our countries were apart of the World Youth Series in Canada. Back then Rick was a phenomenal pitcher, and a great hitter. He went on to play pro and I lost a college scholarship after having an elbow reconstruction. Such is life
